Training Support Center (TSC) Great Lakes recognized Instructors and Sailors of the Year during a ceremony, Oct. 25. The command awardees were selected by a board of senior judges through an interview testing their knowledge of U.S. naval history, programs and policies, basic military requirements, current events and leadership. Military bearing and record of job performance were also considered.
"I am extremely proud of Senior Chief Williams and Petty Officers Gardner, Sullivan and Mcintyre and congratulate them for embodying the Navy core values of honor, courage and commitment on a daily basis," Reid said. "They should be justifiably proud of the honor that is being bestowed upon them today. Their exceptional leadership, professionalism is vital to our mission readiness."
