Assault Craft Unit FOUR Holds Change of Command Ceremony

ACU 4 provides combat ready Landing Craft Air Cushion to support operational tasking around the world. During Nilsson’s tenure as commanding officer from November 2017 to December 2019, ACU4 deployed worldwide aboard amphibious readiness groups, participating in military exercises across the globe.

Previous to DeFrias assuming command, he served as the Naval Attaché to Australia.
