Capt. Oscar Rojas, commander, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One (EODGRU1), relieved Cmdr. Sean Kido, commanding officer, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Eleven (EODMU11), of his duties, Dec. 12, due to a loss of confidence in his ability to command.

Cmdr. Evan Colbert, former commanding officer of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Six, has assumed responsibilities of EODMU11 commanding officer until a permanent relief is assigned. Kido will be temporarily reassigned to EODGRU1. Further proceedings are not anticipated at this time.
