The Navy announced the fiscal year (FY) 2018 Full Time Support (FTS) Aviation Command Retention Bonus (ACRB) in NAVADMIN 167/18, July 13. FTS ACRB program mirrors the Active Component's ACRB and provides those who screen for aviation command a bonus of $100,000 in exchange for three years of service following their commanding officer (CO) tour. The FY 2018 FTS ACRB shifts from a two-year, $36,000 total contract to a three-year, $100,000 total contract. Like the Active Component ACRB, FTS COs who were in command in FY 2017 and accepted the FY 2017 ACRB, are eligible to renegotiate for the terms and conditions of the FY 2018 ACRB program. To be eligible aviators must select after screening for command and the obligation will take them through 22 years of service or the completion of their post-commander command tour, whichever is longer.
