Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 27 Seabees of Individual Readiness Training (IRT) Lincoln, Rotation 6, arrive on site and got to work on various projects in support of Lincoln Police Department in Lincoln, Nebraska July 23, 2018.
During their two-week Active Training (AT), the Seabees hope to finish placing a chain-link fence around the Police Dog Kennel, pour the remaining walkways in shooting ranges two and three, and prepare a foundation for and build a 10x100 shade structure.
If the Rotation 6 Seabees finish all of their planned projects before the end of their AT, another concrete slab is to be poured at the breaching pad to act as a firearm cleaning station.
NMCB 27 Seabees broke ground May 14 and work is projected to be complete in early August.
