Fifteen Training Support Center (TSC) Great Lakes first class petty officers were selected for promotion to chief petty officer according to a Navy message release August 8.
“Getting selected for Chief Petty Officer is the most significant milestone in one’s career,” said Capt. Mark Meskimen, commanding officer of TSC Great Lakes. “These chief petty officer selects represent the best of the best that the Navy has. Throughout their journey these next few weeks they will learn what it means to be ‘The Chief’ and how significant those two words are. I am proud of their accomplishments, their desire to stay Navy and most importantly of their future service to this great country of ours as ‘The Chief’.”
The list of first class petty officers who were selected for promotion to the rank of chief petty officer is as follows:
