Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP) Vice Adm. Robert Burke and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Russell Smith will hold an All-Hands Call via Facebook Live at 4 p.m. ET, Sept. 25 at @USNPeople and @NavyMCPON. As with any All-Hands Call, the leaders seek to update Sailors on key issues, field questions and gather feedback for future decisions.
Sailors are encouraged to post questions for either leader on their Facebook pages: @NavyMCPON and @USNPeople. Questions should be relatable to all, many, or groups of Sailors, as opposed to personnel queries that are unique to only one Sailor’s situation. There is no deadline and Sailors can submit questions before, during and after the event.
The leaders will discuss recent efforts and future developments in manpower, personnel, training and education for Sailors, including Sailor 2025, MyNavy Career Center and other projects aimed at improving Sailors’ career management and quality of life.
The All-Hands Call is scheduled to last 45 minutes. CNP and MCPON will use social media to provide follow-up answers to questions they were unable to address during the Facebook Live event.
