Naval Air Station Oceana, Training Support Center Hampton Roads (TSCHR) welcomed three new chief petty officers (CPOs) following a pinning ceremony, Sept. 20.

Naval Air Station Oceana, Training Support Center Hampton Roads (TSCHR) welcomed three new chief petty officers (CPOs) following a pinning ceremony, Sept. 20.

The ceremony marked the end of a six-week transition period.

"Congratulations to you and your families; you should be proud," said Capt. Matthew Rick, TSCHR commanding officer. "Up to this point, making E-4, E-5, E-6 was primarily through your commands and test performance. As chiefs, you are now responsible for mission accomplishment. Get to it."

Following the pinning ceremony, the new chiefs received a welcome-aboard from the TSCHR Chiefs Mess.

TSCHR provides centralized student management, which, covers a variety of support processes for the care and feeding of Sailors, Marines, Soldiers and Airmen from the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as 23 allied nations.
