Vietnamese Linguists Needed for Testing Study

The Navy announced Monday that Sailors who speak Vietnamese have an opportunity to take part in a standard setting study for the lower range Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) in the Washington D.C. area from Sept. 26-29.
The Navy announced Monday that Sailors who speak Vietnamese have an opportunity to take part in a standard setting study for the lower range Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) in the Washington D.C. area from Sept. 26-29.

The Defense Language Institute (DLI) is inviting 15 linguists who have at least a level 3 in both Vietnamese and English to apply, including native English speakers with high proficiency in Vietnamese, native or heritage speakers of Vietnamese, or native speakers of other languages who demonstrate a high level of proficiency in both English and Vietnamese. DLI will cover TDY expenses for active duty service members that participate.
