Three Sailors assigned to Training Support Center Hampton Roads (TSCHR) were recognized as the Sailors of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter of fiscal year 2017.

Aviation Boatswain's Mate 1st Class James Rothrock, Electronics Technician 2nd Class Ashley Mack and Seaman Samantha Witteangrisani were selected as Senior Sailor, Junior Sailor and Blue Jacket of the Quarter, respectively.

"One of the most important things we do as an organization is recognizing our people for their dedication and hard work," said Capt. Ed Gettins, TSCHR commanding officer. "These three Sailors have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to the mission at TSC over the last quarter and are well deserving of this award."

"We had some outstanding candidates recommended by their respective departments and the nominees' service records were screened, command recommendations were considered, and interviews of each candidate by the selection board members were conducted. Congrats to all on their selection," said TSCHR Command Master Chief Keith Webb.

TSCHR provides student management, quota control, and professional development for nearly 80,000 Sailors, Marines, Soldiers and Airmen from the U.S. Armed Forces, and 23 allied nations each year.

Through the innovative use of manpower and resources, TSC Hampton Roads and its learning sites provide the fleet with highly trained Sailors, Marines and the operational support that empowers them to meet the ever-changing global demands of today's Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Coast Guard.
