The Sea Service Leadership Association will host the 30th annual Joint Women's Leadership Symposium (JWLS) June 15-16 in Norfolk, Virginia.

This year's theme, "Charting Your Course Navigating Your Future," will focus on opportunities and insights for those who serve in the military while exploring options and providing tools for their future.

The conference is a professional development and networking event for military women that provides military members and civilian employees of the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army and Coast Guard access to mentorship and professional development assets not otherwise available in a single setting. Past symposiums have featured senior leaders from the White House, Department of Defense and the private sector.

During JWLS 2017, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers such as Adm. Bill Moran, the Navy's 39th Vice Chief of Naval Operations and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Steven S. Giordano, the Navy's most senior enlisted member.

All Navy-funded registrations will be coordinated through NPC, Talent Development Team (PERS-443). Travel is at the individual command level and must be approved to obtain a conference registration reservation. To register go to https://survey.max.gov/823375 or contact Lt. Cmdr. Dan Frisch at (901) 874-3996 or email Dan.Frisch@Navy.mil.
