NECC Names Junior Sailor of the Quarter

Navy Expeditionary Combat Command named its junior Sailor of the quarter during a presentation held on the command's quarterdeck April 22.

Operations Specialist 2nd Class Sabrina Jackson, from Jacksonville, Florida, was selected due to her outstanding performance as a NECC Readiness Future Operations Division leading petty officer.

During the presentation she was also chosen to take on a billet typically held by a senior chief petty officer for the annual joint military exercise Key Resolve.

"To be selected as junior Sailor of the quarter means that my outstanding performance, personal conduct, and military bearing was definitely noticed and hard work does pay off," said Jackson. "It is definitely an honor to have been selected and recognized for junior Sailor of the quarter."

NECC is an enduring warfighting force providing sea-to-shore and inland operating environment capabilities across the full range of military operations that is focused on delivering combat effective expeditionary forces ready for worldwide operations now and into the future.
