Stretching east from Fort Worth, Texas to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Jacksonville gathered leaders from 17 sites across Navy Region Southeast for the annual Strategic Off-Site Meeting held at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville June 21.

Leading the way in continuous improvement initiatives, Capt. Re Bynum, commanding officer NAVSUP FLC Jacksonville, kicked off the meeting by aligning command objectives with NAVSUP, NAVSUP Global Logistics Support (GLS), and Chief of Naval Operations Navigation Goals.

Todd Lancaster, a Covey Four Principles of Execution (4DX) government consultant, provided training to NAVSUP FLC Jacksonville leaders. 4DX focuses on implementing four disciplines -- focus on Wildly Important Goals (WIG), act on lead measures, keep a scoreboard, and create a cadence of accountability to produce great results while pursuing key goals that matter.

Roger Collamati and Jeff Cavanaugh from Fleet Readiness Center Southeast AIRSpeed Program Office shared their WIG journey, which started in 2008 and offered suggestions to successfully implement 4DX principles at NAVSUP FLC Jacksonville.

The Strategic Off-Site Sessions provided NAVSUP FLC Jacksonville leaders an opportunity to exchange innovative ideas and build united goals to ensure the best service to the fleet.
