NAVFAC Southeast Awards $9.5 million to a Small Business

NAVFAC Southeast awarded a $9.5 million task order Jan. 26, to PentaCon LLC, a Catoosa, Oklahoma, small business for construction of Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School Applied Instruction Facility at Construction Battalion Center, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast awarded a $9.5 million firm-fixed-price task order Jan. 26, to PentaCon LLC, a Catoosa, Oklahoma small business under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract for construction of Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School Applied Instruction Facility at Construction Battalion Center, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.

The new facility will provide enhanced training capabilities for the center. The project includes all pertinent site improvements and site preparations; mechanical and electrical utilities, telecommunications, pile foundation, landscaping, irrigation, drainage, parking, exterior lighting and air conditioning.

Work will be performed in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, and is expected to be completed by October 2017.
