NAVFAC EXWC Hiring More Than 100 in Ventura County Area

Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) plans to hire more than 100 new employees in the Ventura County area over the next six months.
Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) plans to hire more than 100 new employees in the Ventura County area over the next six months.

"We have many vacancies that we are actively recruiting for this fiscal year," said Tony Mrgudic, NAVFAC EXWC business director. "This hiring effort is critical to our ability to support the Navy mission over the next few years. It's a top priority."

NAVFAC EXWC provides specialized facilities engineering, technology solutions, and life-cycle management of expeditionary equipment to the Navy, Marine Corps, federal agencies, and other Department of Defense (DOD) commands. Most of NAVFAC EXWC's 950 positions are located in Port Hueneme, California.

The following types of new employees are needed:

*Mechanical Engineers (various, including fuel pipeline/tank experience)
*Civil Engineers
*Electrical Engineers
*Environmental Engineers
*Interdisciplinary Engineers
*Logisticians
*Physical Scientists
*Contract Specialists
*Engineering Technicians
*Information Technology Specialists
*Automotive and Heavy Equipment Mechanics
*Administrative
