Terry Jo (Schorsch) Voss became the first woman coxswain in the U.S. Navy. During her career she served on both the East and West coasts, in addition to Pearl Harbor, where she became the first woman Sailor to captain the Navy ferry that services the USS Arizona (BB 39) Memorial.
